BMW xDrive treats

Last week I had the pleasure to try out some awesome new BMW xDrive four-wheel drive models, mainly the all new 4-Series, 435i M Sport xDrive Coupe F32 in the very lovely Estoril Blue color to be precise.

What moves this sport coupe is a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder, 24-valve engine mounted to an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with paddle shifters, producing 306 HP and 400Nm / 295 lb-ft of torque, same as in the sedan 335i F30 version.

You'll be able to hear some cool exhaust burble this car makes (and more) in a video at the end of this post.

Got my hands also on a X5 M50d F15, product of BMW's own M Division. This beast is a huge premium class SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle), but with a tri-turbo (!!) 3.0-litre straight-six diesel producing 381 horsepower and 740 Nm / 545 lb-ft of torque this thing really moves. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time is only 5.4 seconds, top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

Lastly, I wasn't able to drive this beauty, but checked out all the details of this Melbourne Red 2014 BMW 328i F30 Sedan customized with every possible part from BMWs own M Performance catalogue.
BMW M Performance Parts are available in four categories: aerodynamics, drivetrain, cockpit and chassis.
